Halco Case Study

When global textile supplier HALCO came to us, they knew their PPC had more to give, and they were right. With a fresh strategy, smart international targeting, and tighter tracking, we turned things around fast. The result? More leads, lower costs, and a happier marketing team.

Halco

The Client

HALCO is a European manufacturer and supplier of hook & loop, machinery, and workroom accessories to textile manufacturing industries. With a global presence including sites across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, and the USA, HALCO supplies over 30 countries across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Before HALCO came to Repeat Digital, they were working with another agency, however, they were not happy with results specifically in international countries and there were issues with accurate reporting and missed opportunities.

Identifying issues

Our targets & goals

Boost International & UK Leads

HALCO needed more high-quality leads not just from the UK, but across key global markets. We focused on reaching the right audiences in the right regions with localised precision.

Reduce Cost Per Lead

We aimed to make every penny count. That meant reducing the CPL significantly while keeping lead volume high and maintaining quality.

Improve Tracking & Reporting Accuracy

To optimise performance and prove ROI, we needed accurate tracking across all touchpoints, making it easier to see what was working and scale it.”

We started the partnership with a kick-off call to define goals and KPIs, discuss areas of focus and set expectations to ensure everyone is on the same page and we are all working towards the same goals.

During the setup phase, we overhauled the account settings and created new campaigns to push priority products. We also set up communication methods between ourselves and various teams within HALCO so that we could easily discuss, request, and approve translations for international campaigns and ad copy. We set up different campaign types such as Search and Performance Max campaigns to target users at different points in their user journey, on different platforms, and to increase reach and visibility.

It’s important to build campaigns with a granular structure that is efficient and organised to minimise any wasted budget. This also helps to push the overall performance of the account, whilst also speeding up any learning periods.

Secondly we set up accurate conversion tracking to monitor phone calls and contact form submissions on top of actions on the website such as requesting quotes that were driven by Google Ads. This is very important as it gives us detailed insights into which campaigns/ad groups/keywords are generating high-quality leads, which makes optimising the account easier and ensures we get the most out of the budget.

The results

What we achieved

Results since taking on the account have been fantastic. Comparing the first three months of running Repeat Digital ads to the previous three months (ads and setup from the previous agency) we achieved a 705% increase in conversions along with an 81% decrease in CPL (Cost Per Lead). Additionally, we achieved a 64% decrease in Average CPC (Cost Per Click) and a significant increase in clicks and impressions; 500% and 568% respectively.
