Palm Spas is Chesterfield’s leading hot tub retailer, based in Derbyshire, Palm Spas serves the nation offering hot tubs, swim spas and garden pods along with servicing plans that cover everything from relocation and repairs to regular servicing.

 

Before Palm Spas came to Repeat Digital they had tried a number of agencies and were not happy with the results due to inconsistency and poor account structure, specifically within campaigns and overlapping keywords. This led to their Google Ads account seeing a decline in performance. The number of players in the market also meant that there was a lot of competition and a lot of noise to cut through.

Palm Spas needed to stand out in a crowded market. Our goal was to raise their profile and get them in front of more potential customers actively searching for hot tubs and spa products.

Increase Enquiries

With underperforming campaigns in place before we stepped in, we aimed to drive a consistent flow of high-quality enquiries, especially for their hero product lines.

Drive Hot Tub-Specific Leads

Hot tubs were the star of the show, so we tailored campaigns and targeting to generate more direct leads for these high-value products.

The first step in any new partnership is to have a kick off call to understand what the goals and KPIs are, what product offerings/services are a priority, set up communications and set expectations.

 

During the set-up phase, we built campaigns that were tailored to Palm Spas’ needs and goals and pushed products that were profitable. We also set up different campaign types such as Performance Max alongside search campaigns to help increase visibility on Google search partner sites. Sharpened audience targeting has also been used to generate high-quality, high-value leads.

 

It’s important to build campaigns with a granular structure that is efficient and organised to minimise wasted budget. This also helps to push the overall performance of the account, whilst also speeding up any learning periods.

 

Secondly, we set up accurate conversion tracking to monitor phone calls and contact form submissions driven by Google Ads. This is really important as it gives us detailed insights into which of the keywords and campaigns the enquiries are coming from. This information is extremely valuable when optimising an account to get the very most out of the budget.

The results

What we achieved

The results were impressive, in the first four months of working with Repeat Digital we achieved a 201% increase in conversions which was a mix of purchases and enquiries, and a 68% decrease in cost per lead.

 

Lastly, we achieved a 67% increase in click-through rates as well as an 29% decrease in average cost per click.
