Stuart Mobility is an eCommerce business specialising in riser recliner chairs and seating for the elderly. They sell predominantly to individuals whether at home or a nursing home. They also provide specialist chairs in bulk to care homes and hospitals.
Stuart Mobility had a traditional bricks and mortar store but saw a great opportunity to provide their services online and reach out to more users who were looking for their comfy specialist chairs. They were using another agency but weren’t happy with the results and communication they were getting, so they reached out to us. Smart move.
They originally just wanted to continue to develop their Google Ads account, however, we quickly identified other areas where they could be running successful campaigns. Stuart Mobility’s main aim was to increase website enquiries as ecommerce was a relatively new venture for them.

Our targets & goals
Increase Online Enquiries & Sales
Cleanroomshop wanted to get more revenue out of every pound spent on ads, without increasing the budget. Improving ROAS was priority number one.
Improve Conversion Tracking & Attribution
With many sales happening via phone, we aimed to set up full-funnel tracking to accurately measure campaign performance and uncover what was really driving revenue.
Scale Paid Advertising Across Channels
Starting small, we planned to expand campaigns across Google, Bing, YouTube, and Facebook to reach more users, boost visibility, and steadily increase return on ad spend.
Where can we get sales for chairs online?” Everywhere! But let’s start with Google Ads.
Firstly, we set up all relevant tracking to record all online activity which can contribute to the success of Google Ads. We found that many users were completing sales over the phone, so we tracked phone calls using the WhatConverts tracking system. Other metrics were recorded via completions, chats and of course sales!
We initially started with a very small budget of around £300 a month and built search and shopping campaigns around their online store, focusing on relevant searches and ensuring we reduced wasted spend wherever possible.
As the campaigns grew and online sales started improving, we quickly increased budgets and expanded sales channels to reach a larger audience.

Bing Ads was a logical approach to ads as many of their consumers are mature users and we tend to find a good portion of elderly users using Bing. Display and Youtube allowed us to remarket to those who had visited the site and to relevant interest based audiences. With Facebook Ads, we built out many different audience groups based on their interests, such as care home workers or interest in chairs, and their interaction with the site.
We also successfully helped Stuart Mobility with their transition to a new website by suggesting tweaks to improve the user experience. These included reimagining the main menu navigation and the addition of new pages and guides to ensure that their customer’s queries and concerns were addressed without needing them to get in touch. This resulted in a more streamlined conversion process. In addition to the aforementioned advice, we also performed our standard site migration & SEO health checks during the process to certify that the migration had all gone smoothly.
What we achieved
We successfully ran campaigns across several networks and tracked their success to sales. As a result, we managed to scale their Google Ads spend by over 4 times original budget and their overall paid media marketing budget by 6 times.
We have consistently delivered sales growth year on year with the latest 12 months proving to be highly profitable for Stuart Mobility.
They’re still with us after 8 years, so we must be doing something right!
